Theatre of the Spirit is a ministry made up of people from Aldersgate
as well as other churches and communities who present a musical every Spring.
It's a great opportunity to showcase your acting and
singing skills. All of these ensembles provide not only musical
but spiritual opportunities as well, and they are a great way to
be involved in the church and meet new people.
Lyle, the Kindly Viking comes to Aldersgate on March 5!
Adapted from the Veggie Tales video, Lyle, the Kindly Viking tells the story of Lyle, a Viking who sets out to return his share of the loot to the Monks from which it was stolen. He is discovered by Olaf, however, who attempts to destroy him before he can do the good deed. When a great storm blows in and capsizes the Viking ship, how can it possibly end on a positive note? You'll have to be there to find out. This original, funny production is based (as introduced by Archibald Asparagus in the video) on a "lost script of Gilbert and Sullivan."
THEATRE OF THE SPIRIT'S production of Lyle, the Kindly Viking opens Friday, March 5, at 7:00 pm.
